Card Condition Guide

We grade card conditions using a scale familiar to international collectors. Every listing carries a clear condition so you can buy with full information.

NM — Near Mint

Card is nearly perfect with no visible marks, clean surface, sharp corners, and no edge whitening. Only extremely minor imperfections visible under close inspection in strong light. Standard condition for most freshly pulled cards.

LP — Lightly Played

May show slight edge whitening on 1–2 sides or a slightly soft corner, but surface is still clean with no visible scratches. LP cards are still tournament-playable in sleeves and suitable for collecting.

MP — Moderately Played

Visible edge whitening on multiple sides, corners may be noticeably bent or soft, may have light surface scratches. Pricing reflects actual wear. We do not use glossy sleeved photos to conceal flaws.

HP — Heavily Played

Heavy wear: noticeably bent corners, whitening on most edges, may have light creases or staining. Product is still identifiable and suitable for proxy use or budget collecting.

DMG — Damaged

Visible creases, tears, writing, or structural deformation. We rarely list cards in this condition and will note specifics when we do.

Grading Notes

Condition grading is subjective and may vary between sellers. If you are unsure about the specific condition of a card, message us to request additional macro photos or a close-up inspection video. We use strong lighting and slow-exposure photos to reveal all flaws before listing.
